She's obviously stricken with grief over the death of her daughter Nef, who was apparently a very talented sculptor.
However you responded, it'll be time to search this small apartment for some clues. In the very small side room, you'll find a Statue you can Examine to hear a comment from Diana, and a Note behind the bed with a message from Morinth. It's the Diary laptop that's of the most interest however, as it has three diary entries from Nef, and each one has a clue. The oldest diary entry reveals the password to get into the VIP section of afterlife: namedropping Garuut. The middle entry mentions a drug named Hallex, which lines up with Diana suspecting Morinth gave Nef drugs.
The most recent entry mentions that Morinth likes a movie called Vaenia. When you finish with the diary Samara will approach you, explaining that Morinth is drawn to artists. Samara's plan will be to lure Morinth out, having Shepard be her next target so Samara can follow them to Morinth's apartment.
Luckily it's close by. Exit the apartment and head towards the marketplace to the right of the Batarian Preacher. Here, go down the steps, straight across the plaza and then up the steps to the other side, where you'll find a door manned by a Turian bouncer. This is where you use your first clue: tell him "Jaruut sent me" to be let in. You'll now be just outside the VIP area in your casual clothes, and here Samara will give any advice you ask on how to draw Morinth out.
Ask her that and you'll learn that you must perform daring acts, but not anything unprovoked, and working the nightclub crowd will also work well. The "Review our findings" option will have Samara go over the interests you discovered in Nef's apartment: the drug Hallex, the movie Vaenia, and the artist Forta.
Conclude the conversation, and you'll be able head into the nightclub. The final factor doesn't affect your ability to attract Morinth, but will give one final clue regarding her interests. In the entrance tunnel you'll spot a human called Vij, who'll talk about a crazy Asari girl who's into a band called Expel You can use this information later when you talk with Morinth face-to-face. So with that, let's head into the bar proper. We'll break down the various activities you can do, what you need to do to pass, and how to avoid failing.
In the bar section directly to the left of the entrance will be a man in a white suit named Horftin. As he explains, his partner is currently interviewing a crime boss named Florit, and is in mortal peril. You'll need to tip her off covertly so that she can escape with her life. Directly across from the entrance on the central dance floor is a Turian named Meln making incredibly unsolicited advances on one of the Asari dancers.
Close to where the Meln the Creep is on the dance floor will be Waera the Dancer. Talk to her, and you can make an offer to dance. To the far left of the entryway will be a bar, tended to by a human named Edwin. Talk to him to try and encourage him to buy a round of drinks for his customers. Between the bar and the reporter parts of the bar, you can find a pair of turians on two seats talking about mugging someone, one of which is named Vertin.
As soon as you pass any three of the activities listed above, Morinth will flag you over and offer a seat with her. You've successfully piqued her interest, and now you need to convince her that you're her perfect next target.
To do that, you'll need to talk about things that interest her. No-Face becomes obsessed with Chihiro, and wants her to see her and her only. Yubaba has a giant baby because everyone has a grating weakness they find difficult to manage. No-Face is a dark spirit who resembles a black humanoid being with a white mask. He devours other spirits and can absorb their emotions into his own soul, causing him to take on their attitudes, especially negative ones which lead to his transformation as a villain.
He serves as an antagonist until his redemption. Furthermore, it befriended Chihiro in a strange sort of way. The main time No-Face becomes evil is when it eats a dark spirit. No-Face is a lonely spirit who begins to follow Chihiro Ogino after having developed an interest in her sincerity.
