Can you watch movies on myford touch

That would be good too!!! Unfortunately it look likes 'Nightmare On Elm Street' tonite Has anyone figured out how to do this? I'm looking to order a new cable to work with my wifes I touch Hey,,, ask the folks on Fusion Forum what they use That is true, the screen in the FFH is just standard video, watching a movie on it was pretty ordinary.

Mine works great for that use, in the front seat for the wife or the backseat for the grand-kids. Now you can buy a Seagate Wireless Plus hard drive you can mount that into car and stream movies directly of the hard drive with it's built in wireless server.

Thank you, Thank you,,, I will look into this. Really wasn't interested in watching movies other than mostly in park But cracking code is somewhat of an interest So yes,,, tell me about this Will the MFT pick up off of this? It doesn't on my phone,,,, because it's not supported. Won't even pick up internet from the phone.

But teach me how to do this on this wireless hard drive and I'll purchase on tonite! Actually for me that wasn't the reason I bought the Seagate wireless since you couldn't watch while driving anyway. I bought it with the idea in mind to stream to my iPhone or a future iPad within the car. So long story short I can connect to the wireless no problem but I have no idea what you can actually do with the wireless connection. If you connect the wireless drive to the car and then also connect a laptop to the car via wireless the laptop should be able to access the drive.

It should work unless there are more stupid restrictions like the 10 character limit on the key for the wireless client. That should work but makes not a lot of sense going thru the cars wireless since this little smart box already allows for 10 IIRC streaming connections.

Now if you would have a USB wireless all streaming devices would use the internet connection thru the Seagate which would be connected to the cars hotspot acting as gateway to the internet access. Not that there would a real use case for this scenario. You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. Paste as plain text instead. The Sony Audio system, which our test mule includes, comes bundled with HD Radio and tagging support. HD Radio tagging gives you an easy way to remember that new Katy Perry song you were listening to, so you can go buy it later. Of course, you need an iPod, iPhone, or iPad connected to the system in order to transfer the tags to iTunes. If you haven't yet jumped into the digital media scene, you do get a CD player underneath the display.

A set of composite video inputs is the system's sole video source allowing passengers to connect VCRs, game consoles, DVD players, or other standard-definition devices to the eight-inch LCD. For legal and hopefully obvious reasons, the inputs only function when the car is stopped, limiting your Guitar Hero time to rest area bathroom breaks and parking lots. However, if you have an iOS-based device paired with USB and the composite video connection, drivers and passengers can watch videos from iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches.

Topics Audio. See all comments SYNC is the reason that Ford's. I've also met several people who have SYNC and they've all had problems with it freezing completely or controls getting stuck.

These problems either require them to stop and turn off the engine a reboot or take the car to a dealer to get SYNC reset. This is shockingly bad code quality for an embedded system. I'll epoxy a tablet to the dash if I need entertainment that bad. What's up with the broken URL parsing? Drove a brand new rental Ford with all the Sync options. It was nice to be able to play music straight from my phone without taking it out of my pocket or plugging anything in.

It was also nice when a call came in and a simple button push switched seamlessly from my music to the call, with good voice quality I might add. The information provided is useful and placed in areas with a focus on keeping your eyes in safer directions than some layouts, and the steering wheel button placement makes sense and also works well for the most part once you get used to it.

However, there are little things here and there that show the system has tremendous potential, but lacks polish you expect when it's in your automobile. I own a reasonably new Ford Freestyle.
