You get free transportation from the airport if you're arriving, but there's nothing in the area so I don't see why you wouldn't just go all the way into downtown Auckland. The bedroom and beds were acceptable, but nothing special and perhaps a tad small. Super comfortable and spacious room. I ended up staying here when the Budget ibis was a total mess.
