After receiving a promotion, Sara took a rare opportunity to celebrate her work. However, she took the celebration a little too far and was arrested for driving under the influence. She was given the courtesy of not being charged as Grissom was called to pick her up.
He just offers her comfort and a ride home. This was a pivotal episode. The final scene saw Grissom contemplating how he would prefer to die. Ultimately settling on a way that he would be able to say goodbye to the ones he loves.
Grissom leaves on his 4-week sabbatical, and he and Sara share an awkward goodbye. The infamous shaving scene was one of my favorites. Instead, we got many scenes with intimate undertones like how Grissom and Sara confirmed they loved each other.
This was such a heart-pounding, emotional episode. Natalie, the miniature killer, had kidnapped Sara, and trapped her under a car. Sara eventually escaped and was roaming around the desert. Grissom was so worried about Sara, and Catherine kept reassuring him that Sara was a survivor. When they found Sara and she was being put into a Medi-Evac, Grissom insisted on coming too. After Sara was rescued from the Miniature Killer, her relationship with Grissom comes under investigation.
In a funny yet sweet moment, the pair have two completely different answers to the question of how long they have been intimate. Grissom believes it has been nine years — since they first met.
In Double Cross , Sara discussed religious beliefs with Grissom while they investigated a murder in a Roman Catholic church. She is agnostic, while Grissom is a lapsed Catholic who still believes in God. When she asks if she has offended him with her opinions, Grissom replies "No, dear.
When she was about to shave him she asked if he trusted her, he answered by saying intimately before she shaves him Fallen Idols. In Ending Happy Grissom says that sex without love makes you sad. Grissom replies no, confirming that they love each other.
In the season finale , Sara is abducted by the Miniature Killer , and Grissom realize that this crime is personal. Feeling cornered, Grissom says that Natalie holds him personally responsible for taking Ernie Dell, the only person she ever truly loved,.
In A La Cart eckile asks questions about their relationship. Sara says it started two years ago in season 6 and Grissom when they met at the conference. Both say they first had sex two years ago which would be season 6. Sara leaves the crime lab in Goodbye and Good Luck due to burnout, leaving Grissom hurt and devastated. Sara returned when she heard that Warrick got murdered and reunites with Grissom in For Warrick.
Now married to Grissom, Sara returns to Las Vegas once again to assist the short-staffed crime lab, after the departure of Riley Adams. Grissom and Sara were talking on webcam when Sara had a falling out with Grissoms mother whilst she and the team were talking about their sex in The Two Mrs Grissoms. Sara shows signs of frustration with her long-distance marriage to Grissom, avoiding his phone calls.
Many snicker that it's an inside joke, and that Gil named his dog after the EMT to make the name belong to a literal dog as well. The many flirty moments between Greg Sander and Morgan Brody gained the pair a devoted fan following that wished they would just get together. Fans love to point out that in the series finale, in which Morgan hugs Greg immediately after bombs are deactivated, an engagement ring can be seen on her finger.
Many hope that the ring was given to her by one Greg Sanders. Others point out that it might indicate a relationship with Hodges, but Morgan has insisted that he's just her best friend. Lady Heather was one of the most interesting characters ever to be on CSI, and Melinda Clarke was fabulous in the role.
Her life was understandably filled with drama based on her profession, but she gave audiences a look at what a woman in her profession might be like as a person.
Her cool intellect and meditative presence made her a match for Gil Grissom, but it just didn't work with the series. Not only was everyone admonished for hooking up with people involved in cases except Grissom, but he also dated Heather during all of that audience Sara Sidle-baiting, which was just stupid.
The show had enough drama without petty triangles being introduced. If Grissom and Heather had their own series without these elements it would've worked much better. While they never officially got together, their mutual attraction was palpable, and when Warrick suddenly got married in season six Catherine was visibly shaken, making passive aggressive jokes and insisting that she wanted to meet his wife, yet changing the subject while appearing uncomfortable.
Given that they both fight addiction, it could have been a mutually beneficial relationship of support. Not only did Eddie cheat on Catherine, but he left her with no money and a cocaine habit, not to mention a single mother with their daughter to raise.
Eddie was the worst.
